Family Childcare

A Family Child Care is an individual who provides child care services for fewer than 24 hours per day per child, as the sole caregiver, in a private residence other than the child’s residence, unless care in excess of 24 hours is due to the nature of the parents’ work.

Most states require that Family Child Care providers be regulated if they care for more than four children. Many states have a voluntary process for providers caring for four or fewer children.

Why choose a Family Child Care?

A Family Child Care provides an enviroment similar to your home making your child more comfortable. A Family Child Care usually provides more attention to your child because of the smaller group.
