MommyDaycare.com was started by a group of parents who all shared a common need for their children: Quality Childcare. In today's society, a majority of families are dual-income families where both parents must work outside the home and this was the case with us. In fact, over 70 percent of all families are headed by either two working parents or a single working parent. Although we knew there was quality child daycare available, it was actually difficult and time consuming to find the perfect child day care facility for our children. We found this was a common problem among other parents, and we realized that a bridge between Parents and Child Daycare Providers was needed.

MommyDaycare.com started as a local Child Daycare directory in Southern California. As the number of child daycare providers increased rapidly, our directory eventually expanded to cover a larger geographic area. Due to the success in bringing parents and child daycare providers together, we are now serving all states in the U.S.

In the computer age, the internet has become the standard tool for finding information. In fact, more than 70% of all households have at least one computer, and more than 50% of those households have Internet connection. We have found that the Internet is the easiest and most popular method for parents to locate child day care facilities in their area.
